DC Planetary Gear Motor 28PG-BL2838

Advantages of Planetary Gear Box
1. High Torque Density:
Due to the compact design, can transfer the maximum amount of torque in a limited space.
2. Precise and Stable:
Central loading concentration, no lateral pressure on the gear teeth, and the power is transmitted radially.

3. Long Service life:
Distribute the load among different gears, decreasing the strain on individual gears.

Planetary Gear Box + BLDC Motor

What is Planetary Gear Box?
A planetary gear box includes a sun gear, planetary gears, an inner ring gear and a planetary carrier.
The sun gear acts as the central gear in a planetary gear system, receiving rotation from the input shaft. it exerts force on the planetary gears, causing them to rotate. The inner ring gear is fixed, the planetary gears will also revolve along the trajectory of the inner ring gear while being driven by the sun gear. The planetary gear is connected to the output shaft through a planetary carrier, so when the planetary gear rotates and revolves, it will ultimately transmit the rotational force to the output shaft, achieving the effect of deceleration and increasing torque.

What is BLDC motor?
A brushless DC motor (BLDC motor) is an electronically commuted DC motor which does not have brushes. The controller provides pulses of current to the motor windings which control the speed and torque of the synchronous motor.
A BLDC motor consists of two primary parts: the rotor (rotating) with magnets, and the stator (stationary) with windings. Permanent magnets on the rotor interact with the stator’s electromagnets, controlled by high-power transistors and a solid-state circuit for power distribution.

Advantages of BLDC motors
1. High Efficiency: Velocity is determined by the frequency at which current is supplied, not the voltage.
2. High Power Density: Produce a lot of power in a relatively small size
3. Longer Lifespan: No brushes to wear out over time.
4. Precise Speed Control: Can be easily adjusted to run at different speeds depending on the needs of the application, accelerate and decelerate easily.
